My Approach

Therapy with me is collaborative, emotionally attuned, and rooted in evidence-based techniques. I tailor each session to your needs, combining insight with action—and always grounded in compassion.

  • Evidence-Based Techniques: I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, Solution-Focused approaches, Mindfulness practices, and Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP). These methods help process emotions, shift patterns, and support healing from the inside out.

  • Empowering, Judgment-Free Care: My goal is to create a space where you feel seen, safe, and supported—centered on your values, strengths, and goals.

  • Inclusive and Culturally Competent: I honor the ways identity, culture, and lived experience shape mental health. My approach is rooted in cultural humility and responsive care.

  • Professional Credentials: MS in Counseling from Johns Hopkins University, Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC) in Maryland, and National Board Certified Counselor (NBCC). As an LGPC, I practice under the supervision of Dr. Harita Raja, a board-certified psychiatrist.

My Commitment to Growth and Excellence

As a member of the Anxiety and Depression Association of America and the Menopause Society, I stay connected to the latest research and advancements in mental health, anxiety treatment, and women’s wellness. This ongoing commitment ensures that the support you receive is compassionate and grounded in the most current, effective practices, so you can move forward with confidence and clarity.
